Please note:

When attempting to engage a vendor for services, they must have either a social security number or tax identification number. They must also have an American bank account or a way to cash an American check.

UT Market is the fastest and most efficient way to purchase items at UT. To place a UT Market order, shop for items, add them to your cart, check out your cart, and then assign the cart to one of the Anthropology Accounting team staff members: Darcie Marquardt, Jessica McMillan, or Chris McNett.

Conference and Memberships

Although the Anthropology Accounting Team can purchase your conference registration or annual organization membership fees with your research funds, there are usually issues with logins, passwords, and emails from the event/organization coming to us instead of you.


It is best practice for you to come by the office and check out the ProCard so that you can complete the purchase yourself with your own contact information. Please complete the form, check out the ProCard, then forward the receipt to the Anthropology Account Team.

Conference Reminder

If you are planning on attending a conference, you must submit a Request for Travel Authorization prior to travel.


If you are planning on using Faculty Travel Grant funds to attend a conference, you must apply for those funds on the Provost Office website.
