Zoom Webinar Request


Webinar License Details

Available for reservation are 500 seat webinar licenses to support events, classes or meetings that require additional capacity, webinar control and security.


The webinar request will be provisioned no more than 3-4weeks before the webinar event date(s).


If Zoom live event support has been requested, we will ask you to complete a Northwestern IT Event Support Request as well.


This must be your Northwestern email address that is used with your Northwestern Zoom account

Long-term requests cannot be accommodated. If you need a license for recurring events, please consider purchasing a webinar license for your account.


Please indicate the dates/date range of your events in the details below.


Using a department email that has a netid makes it easier to manage a webinar since it permits multiple users to share access and manage the webinar, i.e. deptname@northwestern.edu


Note that the email account MUST have a netid, otherwise a license cannot be assigned.


Please list the email address here - (this email must have an active Zoom account to work).


Webinar Event Support

Webinar licenses are temporary and are self-supported.


Northwestern IT can provide consultation and support for your event based on our availability. Please check the box below and then click on the link to complete the Event Support form.


For FSM events, please use the FSM IT/AV Event form instead. They will follow up with your request.

The webinar license will be removed shortly after the webinar concludes - within a couple of days, so please retrieve the necessary data from the event when it concludes. Please watch the Zoom webinar training video to get a good understanding of the webinar components.
