If the name change request is due to a change in ownership (i.e., sale of stock or assets or transfer to a parent or subsidiary), by signing below, the parties acknowledge and agree that: (i) the original Licensee relinquishes all rights granted under the license(s), agrees that it shall remain liable for any existing obligations there under, and certifies that it has or, with the reinstallation of the products, (as set forth in the Service Plan section below) it shall stop all use of the products and remove all copies of the product from its computer systems, and (ii) the new Licensee accepts all of the terms of the Sage End User License Agreement located at https://www.sage.com/en-us/legal/eula/ (US) and https://www.sage.com/en-ca/legal/eula/ (CA) for each of the products and agrees that it shall be responsible for any obligations incurred under the existing Licenses. Except as set forth in this Section, Sage does not allow Licensees to transfer ownership of their Sage Product licenses.

If New Licensee is a current Sage customer and has an existing maintenance and (“Service Plan”), New Licensee understands and agrees that this license transfer may be subject to a supplemental service plan fee. This fee represents the incremental and prorated cost to add the transferred Software/Use(s) to New Licensee’s existing Service Plan. The fee is calculated based upon the retail value of the software being transferred, the type of Service Plan Assignee currently has and the number of days remaining (a grace period may apply) between now and New Licensee’s Service Plan expiration date. Payment for the supplemental service plan fee must be received prior to Sage finalizing the license transfer.


If New Licensee is not a current Sage customer or does not have an existing Sage Service Plan, New Licensee understands and agrees that as a condition of Sage granting the license transfer, New Licensee will have to purchase a Service Plan for the products and pay any applicable reinstatement fee. Payment for the Service Plan, and any applicable reinstatement fees, must be received prior to Sage finalizing the license transfer.


The New Licensee acknowledges a Sage representative may contact the New Licensee to obtain current account information, including but not limited to, a current credit card, before Sage grants this license transfer request. Please ensure to provide correct contact information to allow for a Sage representative to contact you for account information.

For Licensees of the following products: Sage 300/300cloud, Sage 300 CRE, Sage BV, Sage CRM

Licensees understand and agree that upon finalization of a name change or transfer of license, a change to your software registration or reinstallation of all Software modules will be necessary. In addition, if the Sage Products include a Sage Estimating database, it may be necessary to re-serialize the database to the new Licensee’s name, the re-serialization can be completed only by the Sage CRE Customer Support department and may incur a nominal fee. Following the name change or license transfer, Sage will provide new software registration names and activation codes. If Licensees do not agree to change the software registration or to reinstall the software as directed, Sage will not finalize or accept this name or address change request or license transfer.
