OMCA Reproduction Services Request Form

The Oakland Museum of California is committed to making its collections available to the public through exhibitions in the core galleries, temporary exhibitions, and through its collections database. In addition, requests for images of collection objects may be granted for use in publications, scholarly or personal use and in exhibitions. In order to provide access while ensuring the proper care and preservation of collections, the Museum has established internal procedures which may affect your request.

The average turnaround time for image requests is 6 – 8 weeks. Please be aware that OMCA will charge a $150.00 rush fee for any request that needs to be fulfilled inside of 6 weeks, these are taken on a case by case basis and not all rush requests can be accomodated. We try to match image size to the intended use, in most cases our images will not exceed 6000 pixels (or 20 inches at 300 DPI) on the long side, and there may be additional fees associated with requests for larger images.

Please fill in all fields, for those that do not apply to your request, please use "N/A".

If you require the requested material sooner than this please make sure to leave a comment in the "notes" field. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfill all rush orders and will be in contact with you about your specific request. Additionally a $150 rush order fee will be added to all such requests.
