2017 Chapter Leadership Institute Application

The Chapter Leadership Institute provides training and mentoring for motivated underrepresented minority (URM) chapter students. In this pilot year, the funding from Genentech Foundation asks us to focus on chapters in the San Francisco Bay Area region. This intensive two-day experience features hands-on activities and training, networking, keynote speakers, and community building with participants and matching participants with mentors from the SACNAS professional community.

If selected for the Chapter Leadership Institute, I commit to attending the full program of training and events, July 7-9, 2017 in San Jose, CA. I can provide my own transportation to the CLI location at San Jose City College and agree to stay in the hotel lodging provided to me by SACNAS.
