2016 Mölnlycke Travel Scholarships Available

The WOCN Society and Mölnlycke recognize the need to increase and sustain the field of wound, ostomy and continence (WOC) nursing. To achieve this goal, Mölnlycke provides travel scholarships to WOCNEP students to attend the 2016 WOCN Society & CAET Joint Conference. This critically needed financial support affords the WOCNEP student nurses the opportunity to learn about advances in theoretical and clinical knowledge impacting individuals affected by WOC issues. Travel scholarship funding in the amount of $1,500 per recipient, for up to 10 recipients, is intended to offset conference-related expenses, such as registration, hotel, airfare and meals. Eligible individuals must meet the following criteria: 1. Be a WOCN member. 2. Be a recent graduate (within one year) from an accredited WOCNEP or currently enrolled in an accredited WOCNEP. 3. Have a strong interest in wound care. 4. Be a first-time conference attendee. 5. Be an individual without institutional funding. 6. Be an individual engaged in full-time or part-time employment.
