Authentic Leadership in Action (ALIA): Engaging the Differences that Divide Us

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION Thank you for your interest in the ALIA Summer Leadership Intensive in Tacoma, WA on June 22-25, 2017. We offer partial scholarships for those who would not otherwise be able to attend. Please complete this application in it's entirety. Applications received by April 15 will receive priority. We will begin reviewing applications after the priority date and will notify you with a decision by May 1, or within two weeks of receiving your application if after the priority date. Please be aware that there are a limited number of partial scholarships available. We may contact you if there are questions about your scholarship application or to explore volunteer work you might do in exchange for reduced fees.

Include your experiences with previous the ALIA, ALC, and/or Naropa programs; the subject matter of this program and how this program will help you succeed in your short and long term personal and professional goals.

The individuals that participate in our program all add their unique perspective to the experience. In a brief paragraph, explain what contribution you would bring to the learning community and how you might apply the learning in your workplace or community.

No full scholarships are available; only partial scholarships. Describe your current capacity for a personal contribution or receiving support from your employer or other sponsors. Please share any special circumstances affecting your need for for financial assistance.
