The City of Detroit generates a standard letter in response to all employment verification requests.


Only the following information will be provided:

  • Employee's Name
  • Employee's Most Recent Title
  • Date(s) of Employment
  • Current Salary (if requested)
  • NOTE: Verification requests sent on behalf of governmental agencies such as Social Security, Veteran's Affairs and State of Michigan may have longer processing times.
