CITY OF DETROIT EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION FORM

The City of Detroit generates a standard letter in response to all employment verification requests. Only the following information will be provided:

Employee's Name
Employee's Title
Date(s) of Employment
Current Salary

NOTE: Verification requests sent on behalf of governmental agencies such as Social Security, Veteran's Affairs and State of Michigan may have longer processing times.






















HR can only release information upon receipt of a fully executed Release/Authorization Form signed by the employee. The Form MUST include a full social security number.

If you are seeking Employment Verification for your own records, please submit a copy of your Drivers License or State ID card. We will not release any information without it.

Please submit a clear copy for faster processing.
