New York State Grown and Certified Produce Application

Thank you for your interest in the New York State Grown and Certified program! If you have any questions, please contact the Department at NYSGrownandCertified@agriculture.ny.gov or 1-800-554-4501: Option 3.

The New York State Grown and Certified Program makes it easy for consumers to identify local, safely handled and environmentally responsible agricultural products. This voluntary program is a cooperative effort among producers, processors, wholesalers, retailers, restaurants and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets (NYSDAM) to meet consumer demand for high quality food and agricultural products.

Upon acceptance to the NYS Grown and Certified Program and submission of a signed Trademark Licensing Agreement, program participants will be able to display a new, high-impact label that will clearly stand out and tell the consuming public their food handling practices are audited and certified and they operate their farms in an environmentally responsible manner.
