Product/Practice Change Submission

Health care suppliers are encouraged to confidentially submit detailed information regarding their innovative technology products or services to Mohawk Medbuy for review.


This information will be received and assessed by our in-house Clinical Team and then submitted to a Member Innovation Review Committee for consideration (if required). If the Committee recommends that the product or service be considered for a contract, the Strategic Sourcing team will initiate the contracting process.


For practice changes for existing technologies, the Mohawk Medbuy Clinical Team will be in touch with the results of the review and next steps.

Governance benefits = a positive impact on internal controls or standards of an organization (i.e. helps improve transparency, accountability, controls, etc.)

Ensure your summary answers the following questions:

  • Describe the main problem or opportunity that your product/solution addresses.
  • Describe how your product/solution improves health care outcomes such as enhancing the patient experience, improving population health, reducing total costs, or improves the professional practice of health care practitioners.
  • What are the essential features of your product/solution that makes it better or novel when compared to existing practice?
  • What steps have you taken to provide evidence that your product/solution delivers on the outcomes listed i.e. prototypes, proof of concept trials, peer reviewed papers etc?
