By submitting this form, you agree to the following: I am a College of Natural Sciences student who is currently registered for Fall 2021 courses at The University of Texas at Austin. I understand that receiving funds may impact any financial aid packages I have. Once notified that I have been granted funding through the CNS Student Emergency Fund, I will set up a non-payroll direct deposit to ensure I receive funds in a timely manner. I understand that the funds are intended to address immediate financial hardships resulting from an emergency. I understand that I can only receive financial assistance from the CNS Student Emergency Fund once per academic year. I understand that if I have any financial bars such as past-due bills, current tuition, housing, any upcoming bills, etc. issued by campus departments, these bars may be paid first and the amount deducted from my scholarship award. I understand tax may be withheld from my scholarship at a rate of 14%, if I am not a US citizen or resident non-citizen. I am aware that I may be eligible for a refund, if my country has a tax treaty with the United States. I understand the scholarship amount I receive may be less than requested due to my current financial aid package, financial bars for other departments and taxes.
