AIIS Minor Application

As central offering of the American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program (AIISP) is our AIIS Minor degree which is open to graduate and undergraduate students in any college at Cornell.


The AIIS Minor engages with the complex histories and contemporary concerns of American Indian and Indigenous communities. Our diverse faculty members teach AIIS courses in a range of subject areas, including art, art history, anthropology, archeology, English, fiber science and apparel design, law, linguistics, horticulture, natural resources, and more.
