2025 Detroit Black HIV Awareness Summit Registration Form

The Detroit Health Department – Ending the HIV Epidemic program is hosting the 2025 Detroit Black HIV Awareness Summit on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at The Matrix Center at 13560 East McNichols, Detroit, MI 48205.

The summit will highlight the critical impact of HIV/AIDS on the Black community, both historically and in the present day, through an inclusive platform that unites diverse voices to confront the challenges surrounding HIV/AIDS within the Black community. With a focus on Black individuals, we aim to shed light on the unique challenges they face, from disproportionate rates of HIV diagnoses to barriers in accessing care and treatment.

By highlighting Black voices and experiences within the HIV/AIDS community, we strive to create a more equitable system where black voices can thrive. Through education, advocacy, and dialogue, we hope to amplify unheard stories and work toward a community where everyone, regardless of race or ethnicity, can access resources and support.

Join us as we forge a path for a future rooted in awareness, solidarity, and change. To register for this event, please click the registration link below. You will then be asked to choose three workshops that focus on issues surrounding different black populations.
