Bjarnasson Fund request 2024

The Family Support Institute of BC "Bjarnasson Fund" is available to any Resource Parent who would like to participate in an FSI approved training to increase their capacity as a Resource Parent and better support families in their community. It is for up to $200 and RPs can access the fund once per year, funds permitting. All we ask is that, after your training, you write something to share back your learnings with others, as requested by the donor.

Commitment and Consent

Resource Parents who receive the Bjarnason Fund are asked to write a short blurb (500 words) about the training they attend, their experience and what they have learned. This write up will be shared with FSI's wider network via our newsletter, bulletin and/or Facebook page. Submitting this request will act as a commitment to do so as well as consent to share their piece. Submissions are to be emailed to Angela Clancy at aclancy@fsibc.com within 2 weeks after the event.
