Mass Lead Service Line Identification (MA-LSLI) Web App
MA-LSLI is a simple form meant to be used by the general public in Massachusetts to help identify the materials that make up their drinking water service line. The drinking water service line is the pipe that runs from the water main in the street to the home. As part of EPA's Lead and Copper Rule Revisions, water suppliers in Massachusetts are required to put together a full inventory of the drinking water service line materials that make up the water system by the end of 2024.
In order to assist in this data collection effort Lead Smart was created by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) to help water suppliers collect the data they need.
If your water supplier enrolled in the use of MA-LSLI you should have been notified and directed to use MA-LSLI by your water supplier. If your water supplier is not listed in the list of water suppliers that means your water supplier has not enrolled to use the service and unfortunately you won't be able to make a submission.
All submissions made using MA-LSLI are accessible only by designated staff at your water system.
