Neighborhood Cleanup Volunteer Interest Form

The Wichita Neighborhood Cleanup Program provides eligible neighborhoods with a City-funded event to dispose of bulky waste such as furniture, tires, mattresses, and tree limbs/yard waste. Cleanups are scheduled once a year from April to October. They take place on Saturday from 8 am to noon. Neighborhoods must organize themselves and provide volunteers to assist compactor truck drivers and monitor dumpsters. Additional activities include notifying residents within the cleanup boundaries, distributing flyers, soliciting volunteers, and funding/ donations of supplies like water, gloves, and food.
