Intent to Graduate Form:
Graduate Nursing Programs
It is a requirement for graduate nursing students to file an intent to graduate form with the UNM College of Nursing Office of Academic Advising. All Master of Science in Nursing, Post-Master's Certificate, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Doctor of Philosophy students must complete this form.
Please complete this form by the following dates for your intended semester of graduation:
- Spring Graduation: September 15
- Summer Graduation: March 15
- Fall Graduation: June 15
Graduation Requirements for students:
- Completion of all didactic and clinical coursework of the prescribed curriculum.
- Compliance with the minimum residence requirements, as stated in the General Academic Regulations section of the UNM Catalog.
- Maintenance of an overall grade point average of 3.00 minimum.
- Unanimous recommendation for the degree by the faculty of the College of Nursing.
- Successful completion of all UNM College of Nursing grade and graduation requirements as set forth under the "Grade Requirements for Graduation" section of the UNM Catalog and the College of Nursing Student Handbook.
Graduate students must also complete all Office of Graduate Studies Degree Completion Requirements as listed on the OGS website. Please contact your academic advisor with questions regarding processes required by OGS in order to graduate.
