Event Safety Review Form

The success of an event is measured in many ways –but events must also be measured in terms of safety. Event organizers have a duty of care to provide a safe working environment and to ensure that people are not exposed to risks to their health and safety.


All injuries must be reported through Origami. Select "Submit a New Incident" tab to start.

Note: This form is to be used when food is to be distributed or sold on or in University properties, including off-campus preparation for distribution or sale on campus via food trucks or mobile units. The University follows all local and state health and sanitation regulations and guidelines with regard to food handling. This form must be submitted no later than 15 working days prior to the event. Failure to complete the form as prescribed will result in non-consideration of your request.

I acknowledge the Food Truck Distrubution Form and agree to adhere to the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi guidelines. I understand that TAMU-CC and/or the Nueces County Health Department has the right to prohibit or end the distribution of food at my event if I do not fully comply with the requirements.

Alcohol Guidelines

For events hosted by the University only licensed contracted vendors must be used. (Chartwells can be used)

Employees should not be serving.


Special Event insurance is also recommended.

Closed toe shoes and gloves is required for this event.

Event Permit

An Animal Permit Application is required for this event.


  • Each vendor who will bring farm animals into the Corpus Christi city limits (on campus) for an event will need an Animal Permit Application.
  • To obtain a permit, the vendor will complete the form and submit it Corpus Christi Animal Care Services along with payment.
  • Animal Control will issue a receipt of payment.
  • On the date of the event, an Animal Control Officer will arrive prior to the start of the event and will inspect and issue the permit. Then they leave. This process takes about 5-10 minutes.
  • Separate permits will be required for each vendor.

Participants are required to sign

All participants are required to sign the Agreement for Waiver, Indemnification, Assumption of Risk and Medical Treatment Authorization form

Amusement Ride Regulations

Amusement Ride Regulations. Refer to the Vendor List to confirm that your vendor is compliant with the inspections and insurance requirements.

Your event may require a Fire Extinguisher

The sponsoring organization/department is responsible for ensuring a fire extinguisher is onsite. Or you can contact Facilities Service to check if they have any available.

* EHS will not provide one.

Your event may require a Hot Work Permit

A Hot Work Permit is required for any operation involving open flame or producing heat and/or sparks.


Do not have an open flame started prior to inspection.
