If you are a coach or parent/carer requiring accreditation for the British Open Championships or the GB Cup on the 13th and 14th July 2024. Venue: EIS Sheffield, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA then you must complete this form ahead of the event.

To be eligible for a coach's accreditation you must be on the coaching register please see here for the requirements To be eligible to apply for parent/carer/guardian or piste side assistant accreditation, you must hold a British Fencing membership. Please note that this MUST be the membership number of the person applying, and not the athlete (s). If you supply the athlete's membership number your accreditation request will be declined

If you are an athlete wishing to support a club mate and you have compete membership please apply for Field of Play accreditation.


If you do not appear on the coaches register and think you should please check your sport80 profile to see what is missing/lapsed. If everything appears to be in order email development@britishfencing.com, include your membership number in the email and we can then investigate.

Coaches Accreditation

If you do not appear on coach search check your sport80 profile to see if any qualifications have lapsed or are pending approval. Parent/Carer/Guardian Accreditation

You must be the legal Parent/Guardian/Carer for this type of accreditation and you must hold a minimum of supporter membership of British Fencing. Photography/Media Accreditation

Anyone wanting to take photographs using any kind of professional or semi-pro camera equipment must apply for media accreditation in advance of the event – accreditation will not be available during competition. This means any kind of camera with a detachable lens, and/or using any kind of tripod or monopod. Media accreditation is for still photography only – no pro or semi-pro video equipment is permitted.

For this type of accreditation, you must hold a minimum of supporter membership of British Fencing. To assess coaches/parents/guardians/carers meet the minimum operating standards for domestic competitions to be accredited at the selected competitions. To do this your data will be shared with appointed staff responsible for overseeing the competition accreditation. To confirm membership of British Fencing and adoption of the relevant policies
