2024 Alumni Association Board Nominations
The NYU Dentistry Alumni Association invites qualified alumni to be a part of a dedicated and diverse group of alumni leaders for 2024-2025.
(3) Board of Directors positions are available for a 2-year term from January 2024-December 2025.
Nominations are due November 28, 2023.
The Board of Directors is dedicated to the mission of connecting all alumni to the College and NYU through communications, programs, services and volunteer opportunities. The Board partners with the Department of Development and Alumni Relations to uphold the mission of the Alumni Association.
The NYU Dentistry Alumni Association is comprised of (12) Board of Directors and (5) Officers, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Immediate Past President.
Board members serve from various US regions on behalf of all NYU alumni. Responsibilities important for effective NYUAA board members include:
- Attend (2) Alumni Association board meetings and other meetings as scheduled by the Executive Committee (held hybrid or virtual)
- Participate in alumni events throughout the year and encourage alumni to attend.
- Serve as an Alumni Ambassador for alumni in local area.
- Be informed and supportive of alumni initiatives and opportunities such as volunteering, special interest programs, and events.
- Join your class reunion committee and attend your class reunion events.
- Advise the Office of Development and Alumni Relations in identifying reunion volunteers, regional contacts, potential board members, and other alumni volunteers based on current needs and priorities.
