For imminent traffic safety concerns (including road hazards, malfunctioning traffic signals, missing or damaged signs, etc.), please call the Regional Traffic Operations Center (RTOC) at 585-753-7750. RTOC is staffed 24/7; including weekends and holidays. You may also call 911.


To report potholes on area expressways (104, 390, 490, 590, LOSP, or any State Route referred to by a route number: 15, 15A, 31, 33, etc.), please call the NYSDOT toll-free hotline: 1-800-POTHOLE (1-800-768-4653).


Potholes on City of Rochester streets (within the City limits) should be reported to 311 or 585-428-5990. City potholes may also be reported online: https://www.cityofrochester.gov/departments/department-environmental-services-des/pothole-repair
