Term Information

Which term/semester are you requesting residency status?*

Once residency status is gained, you do not need to re-apply for residency unless you reapply at WSU.

Residency Petitions

Residency applications for prior terms are not accepted. Continuing this application will submit a PETITION of a missed residency deadline for a maximum of two prior terms. Petitions will be denied when you have not gained residency for the current term. Apply for current term residency prior to submitting a petition for residency for a prior term.

Attach a letter describing why your petition should be considered, documentation that you were eligible for the prior term, and documentation of the extraordinary circumstances that lead to missing the application deadline.
