Rogue Business Elevate Employer OJT Application
*This program is awarded on a first-come first-serve basis and dependent on availability of funding. Currently we are only accepting OJT requests with a start date of 5/1/2025 or later.*
The Rogue Workforce Partnership On-The-Job Training (OJT) Program is dedicated to empowering businesses in Jackson and Josephine County by supporting the upskilling of current employees and the hiring of new employees with significant skill gaps. The program focuses on providing wage reimbursement during on-the-job training, thereby fostering employee growth while alleviating the financial burden on employers.
An On-The-Job Training (OJT) program is designed to help businesses train employees directly at their workplace. Rather than sending employees to external training courses or third-party providers, the OJT program focuses on hands-on learning within the actual work environment.
By enhancing employee skills, the program aims to promote retention and advancement in key sectors, including:
Manufacturing
Construction
Information Technology
Natural Resources
Transportation
Healthcare
Behavioral Health
Childcare
FINANCIAL SUPPORT DETAILS
WorkSource Rogue Valley may reimburse qualified applicants for up to 50% with a max of $3,500 per employee for wages paid during training periods.
An interest form must be submitted for each individual that is requesting to be supported through the On-The-Job Training Program.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The completion of an interest form does not guarantee funding. A representative will reach out to discuss program eligibility and next steps.
