Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Faculty Development Summit, hosted by the School of Medicine Office of Faculty Development.


If you have not already done so, please read the full Call for Proposals prior to beginning your submission.


Important Dates:

  • Proposal submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 7, 2024 (extended from previous Jan. 31 deadline)
  • We will notify you of the committee's decision regarding your proposal no later than Feb. 29, 2024.

Proposal details

Please write an abstract (approximately 500 words) addressing the following components of your actual or planned approach to faculty development:

  • Target audience
  • Identified need or gap that this initiative serves
  • Rationale for specific program design (citations preferred)
  • Required funding and support
  • Measured or expected impact/effectiveness (e.g. comparative rates of faculty retention and advancement, improvements to well-being measurements, scholarly output, etc.)
  • Possibilities or limitations for replication
  • If applicable: how the approach is anti-racist and addresses diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Additional relevant findings
