Northwest Conference on Resettlement 2025

Collaborator for Success & Welcoming Community Awards

Recognition Awards are given out at Northwest Conference on Resettlement to celebrate and thank those who are doing exemplary work to elevate opportunities for community ‎members from refugee and immigrant backgrounds to thrive and belong.

We invite your ‎nominations of such individuals and organizations for the following awards:

Collaborator for Success Award: Recognizes individuals for their outstanding contributions to create a connected, compassionate, and welcoming community that honors and includes neighbors from refugee and immigrant backgrounds.

Welcoming Community Award: Recognizes ‎businesses and organizations who go above and beyond to create a community of belonging, share ‎opportunities and resources that lead to collective success, and celebrate and value diversity.‎

Eligible Nominees:

Collaborator for Success: Any individual in Idaho who fits the above principles. Nominees do not ‎have to work in refugee resettlement, they could be elected officials, volunteers, public or private ‎sector employees, or individuals dedicated to serving and supporting the community. Nominations ‎may include folks who were born in the U.S. or those who relocated here through immigration and ‎refugee resettlement. ‎

Welcoming Community: Any company or organization, public or private, that has shown strong support for refugee communities in Idaho. This could be through best practices for creating ‎workspaces that value diversity, building opportunities for New Americans to contribute and thrive, ‎promoting welcoming messages in the community, and giving time and resources to community ‎well-being.
