Permits are required for authorized access by the DWSP for organized groups of 25 people or more for DWSP managed lands in Quabbin Park, the Quabbin Reservoir, and Ware River Watersheds System. If you are a group/school interested in a staff program please email: QuabbinVisitor.Center@mass.gov to arrange it before applying for a group permit. Requests for group access should be received by DCR Quabbin staff at least two weeks prior to the proposed access date. DWSP may suspend this permit at any time, despite previously issuing a group permit. Access to critical wildlife areas will be limited during certain time periods. Alcoholic beverages, cannabis, fires, littering, swimming, drones and dogs are not allowed within the Quabbin Reservoir Watershed System. GROUPS MUST COMPLY WITH ALL DCR RULES AND REGULATIONS WHILE in Quabbin Park, Quabbin Reservoir or Ware River Watersheds System. Group size may be limited and some groups may require having a Ranger detail present. NOTE: Quabbin Tower is currently closed to the public due to safety concerns, and no groups are allowed inside.
