NORDTECH HUB Internship Mentor Interest Form FY25

The NORDTECH Program

NORDTECH consists of participants from academia, government organizations, and industry, including the defense industrial base and small/medium enterprises (SMEs). Some participants contribute core facilities and infrastructure for the Hub to leverage in selected R&D projects, and for education and workforce development activities. As one of the Hubs selected to participate in the Microelectronics Commons, NORDTECH received an initial $40 million award.

NORDTECH seeks to expand its collaborations with other DoD-selected Microelectronics Commons Hubs across the country. For example, DoD-selected R&D projects that informed development of the NORDTECH network could leverage participation to include researchers at universities and other hub participants both within and beyond the Northeast US.

NORDTECH members and participants include large companies spanning the defense industrial base, industry across the semiconductor manufacturing pipeline with key core facility capabilities, universities and small companies with technical project expertise and prototyping facilities, and universities and community colleges as vital participants in developing the next generation of semiconductor-enabled careers.
