2022 Heritage Lab: Voyageurs

We are excited to announce our Voyageur Heritage Lab this year. The program will take place September 13 – October 7 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:50 p.m. This is a rotating multi-station outdoor educational experience covering the early exploration of Minnesota through the fur trade from the mid-1600s through the early 1800s. Stations will include topics such as the lives of the voyageur fur traders, voyageur songs and games, fur trade fashion, and much more. The presentations are adjusted to each age level and are done in a participatory style. This program is best suited for third grade and up.

HEALTH & GROUP POLICIES

No participants should come who are feeling sick or have symptoms of COVID-19. Full refunds will be available for those who have COVID-19 symptoms or other illness. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE FEELING SICK.
Groups will be limited to 30 per station (of all individuals attending).

REGISTRATION:

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Registration is only available online.
An invoice will be generated and sent to you after confirmation of your registration date.
Registrations received by Wednesday, August 10 will receive a confirmation email regarding scheduled date on Friday, August 12.
Registrations received after Wednesday, August 10 will receive confirmation of scheduled date within one week of their submission.
Groups exceeding 30 people will be split. Small groups may be combined with other groups.

PAYMENT:

The fee is $5.50/person (+ tax) for all participants ages 4+. If tax exempt, please send your Certificate of Exemption.
There is no charge for up to 3 adults per group/station; this also applies to homeschool groups. We will adjust for the adults on your invoice.
Payment must be received prior to your scheduled Heritage Lab date. If pre-payment is not possible, please call 763-324-3350 to make other arrangements. Check or credit cards are accepted.
Please notify us of participant number changes, but fees are not refundable within two weeks of your program date. Your group is financially responsible for the number of participants submitted on your registration form.
