Mentor Recruitment Form-HNB

One of the major components of the program is to provide each entrepreneur with a volunteer successful business mentor who can help guide the entrepreneur toward achieving the business goals. We ask that the mentor commit to meeting with the HNB entrepreneur at least one hour a month. We provide an opportunity for the mentor to learn about the needs of the business owner in an initial meeting and at this meeting the mentor can decide to move forward with the mentoring relationship. We will provide support to the process by setting up the meetings, providing an outline for recording the results of each meeting, and for addressing identified needs through the resources of the Habitat for Neighborhood Business Program and SLU's Chaifetz School of Business. We also publicize the business owners and their mentors in our social media, in our our newsletter, in St. Louis University and community publications, and at HNB social events. We are working to make a difference in the success of entrepreneurs who have businesses in the city of St. Louis and to make a difference in St. Louis city communities that the business owners serve. As a mentor for the HNB program, you would be instrumental in the accomplishment of the program goals, contributing to the success of business owners in the city of St. Louis.
