The Michigan Academy of Physician Associate's Preceptor of the Year is an award that honors preceptors who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in the clinical education of PA students as a mentor and instructor.

MAPA Preceptor of the Year Award Eligibility

1. Nominee must have been a preceptor for PA’s in the previous calendar year
2. Nominee must have served as a preceptor for three (3) consecutive years
3. Nominee must have precepted a minimum of three (3) students during a three-year period
4. Nominee is not required to be a PA however if the applicant is a PA, they must be a current MAPA member in good standing.
