Friendly Fixture Notification

Please complete no less than 48 hours prior to the fixture.

Both teams wishing to play in a 'friendly' fixture must be affiliated.

If a club has started their affiliation (in progress/ready for review/submitted & invoiced) and has purchased Personal Accident Insurance AND indicated they will purchase Public Liability Insurance from Cheshire FA, they are also allowed to play.

If you do not intend to play in the correct format, then your match is NOT sanctioned which means you will not be covered by public liability insurance or personal accident insurance. You will also be unable to use Cheshire County FA registered match officials.

They must play in the correct format for the particular age group, following FA rules.

Please note:

  • We do not sanction rearranged league or cup matches, these are already sanctioned through the League.
  • Clubs will not receive a sanction number for the game.

Playing fixtures in a different format to the current prescribed age group at the time of the game is only authorised with the express permission of Cheshire FA in writing and must be attached to this form; this is in the event / purpose of development to support the transition from one age group to another (e.g transition from 7v7 to 9v9)

This can be requested by submitting a ticket here.

I understand by submitting this request, I am doing so acknowledging the aforementioned affiliation status required for this fixture to be sanctioned:

Please attach permission from Cheshire FA if playing in a different format to that of the current prescribed season (e.g - you are currently 7v7 and wish to play 9v9 to support transition to the next season)

Note - if this is not provided, your fixture is not sanctioned.
