Change Ambassador Submission Form
The Nevada Criminal Justice Information System’s (NCJIS) Modernization is a multiyear effort to modernize the various systems that comprise the new Nevada Civil and Criminal Information System's (NCCIS) web portal. This modernization effort will replace existing NCJIS applications and add critical system functionality for criminal justice and civil business customers. This will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public safety operations and provide improved services to the public.
Purpose of This Form
This form is used to identify your selected representative(s) to serve as change ambassador(s) for your agency or business in this modernization effort. Large organizations may appoint more than one change ambassador.
Responsibilities of a Change Ambassador
1. Commit to helping drive communication and comprehension within their business or sphere of influence.
2. Be able to help determine who exactly needs to receive communication, how often they need to receive it, and how best the communication can be delivered.
3. Act as a go-between for your agency/business and the NCJIS Modernization Team and proactively bring questions forward.
4. Share to your users or key personnel information provided, such as newsletters, presentations, go-live dates, timing, and other key details.
Ideal Qualities of a Change Ambassador
1. Understands and can get behind the big picture.
2. Drives or can drive communication in their area.
3. Knows the system, who should receive communication, how, and when.
4. Is recognized as a champion for change or leader across many ranks.
