LLILAS Conference Travel Awards

LLILAS Conference Travel Awards provide support for students to attend a major professional and/or student-organized meeting at which they present an original paper based on their research.

Funding eligibility:

Students must be registered at UT Austin during the semester in which the funds are to be used. Registration for the prior spring semester will fulfill this requirement for the summer semesters unless students have graduated. Students who have graduated cannot receive funding.

Funding Criteria:

Due to limited funding, all students will be considered for one award per academic year.

Application Deadlines:

• Fall (September - December conferences): October 1

• Spring & Summer (January - August conferences) January 31

To be considered for funding, students should apply via this survey and be prepared to submit the following documents:

1. A copy of the abstract

2. Abstract acceptance evidence (copy of email, letter or program confirming their presentation)

3. Anticipated expenses and any related receipts
