Onboarding Notes for Hiring Managers:

• Submit PeopleConnect ticket for new hire, including Door Access (ID badge) requests. • Submit a "welcome" announcement article to HR Connect including a photo and Q&A on HR Communications Intake form: https://ucsf.app.box.com/file/710599358395?s=uz50u32uwjznhr4kf631sbzzgmihkbof • Update any PeopleConnect roles/"Find Your HR Directory" via the "HR Role Matrix" tool. • Make a note to review Emergency Action Plan (EAP) with employee after their first day. Reminders about other Systems: - For Certiphi, contact Staff Managers for access - For Perceptive Content/P-Files access, email hracademy@ucsf.edu to initiate the process -For BrassRing access, contact BrassRing@ucsf.edu in Talent Acquisition. - For SRS historical access, use Admin self-service tool.

 

Offboarding and Transfer Notes for Managers:

• HRBS will collect ID badge from employee for in person offboarding. •If you arranged offboarding by mail, ID badge will be collected with laptop and all other UC equipment. • If you intend to fill the vacant position, request FTE through your director. • If this is a temporary employee, please notify the Interim Staffing team at 476‐4486 for account termination. •Announce departure and retirement on HR Connect through the HR Communications Intake form: https://ucsf.app.box.com/s/uz50u32uwjznhr4kf631sbzzgmihkbof

 

HR Business Services will:

• Coordinate computer and accessories needs (monitor, keyboard, mouse, dock, headphones) • Submit systems access requests via this form. • Send welcome letter to employee, copying manager, with access information and emergency contact survey upon new hire keying completion. • Deactivate access requested via this form.
