TRU's Marketing Services Representative in Africa, based in Kenya
Thompson Rivers University is looking for an individual in Kenya that can represent the institution in Africa to recruit students.
Main duties include
- Recruit students from Africa (except Nigeria and Ghana) to Thompson Rivers University
- Work with student recruitment agents and maintain partnership relations
- Identify key high‐schools in the region and establish partnership
- Provide continuous training to TRU’s agent partners
- Counsel students and parents and help them with their process of applying to TRU
- Produce quarterly and annual market performance reports
- Provide support to any subsidiary MSR in the region
- This job requires frequent international travel and the candidate must have the required ability and the availability
Remuneration, Employment and Training
- Remuneration: The typical pay range for this position is CAD $1500 - CAD $2000 per month. Salary negotiable for candidates with significant experiences and skills.
- Employment Period: To start immediately or as early as possible
- Training: Thorough training will be provided to the candidate prior to commencement in this role apart from on-going training
Mandatory Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree
- This is a remote employment position, and the candidate must have access to a laptop with webcam and high-speed internet and cell phone.
- Basic understanding of marketing and sales
- Great communication skills in English - verbal and written
- Proficiency with technology such as Microsoft Office, Skype etc
- Soft skills such as attention to detail and communication skills
