Please note that each quarter has an enrollment deadline.

If you are not sure what the enrollment deadline is for the academic quarter, please refer to the Stanford Academic Calendar, or ask your E-IPER student services staff

Note: MS students may only enroll in a maximum of 5 units.

As per Stanford policy on units, each unit for which credit is given is understood to represent a minimum of three hours of actual work per week for the average student over a 10-week quarter.

If you enrolling in ENVRES 391 (CPT), a maximum of 3 units of CPT may count toward the PhD or Joint or Dual MS degree. For the Joint or Dual MS degree, units may count as ‘elective’ units.

Note: MS students are allowed to take independent study courses for CR/NC. ENVRES 270 and ENVRES 391 must be taken as CR/NC
