Publications (Journal Fees)

Prior to completing publication fee billing and or payment information with the journal, please contact Erica Okamura, Education Program Manager, at eokamura@stanford.edu to confirm funding support eligibility and next steps.

Conference Registration, Travel, and/or Poster Printing Fees

We want to stress that this support is a scholarship-supplement, and will not be able to cover full costs for every Scholar. Therefore, please make sure you have agreed upon this request with your team and mentor prior to submission.


Moving forward, we can only provide reimbursements. Please pay directly and submit this form for a reimbursement. Please try to submit reimbursements all at once.

Each team is allotted a maximum of $2,000 per team for conference support. Before completing this form, ensure that you and your team have discussed how you will allocate the $2,000.

WHO: Your name

WHAT: What is the full name of the conference?

WHEN: What date does the conference start and end? What date(s) are you attending the conference if different than the conference start and end date?

WHERE: What city and state is the conference taking place? If it is virtual, indicate that.

WHY: What research/project are you presenting? Including titles of the research/project.

Please add up all your expenses and provide the total below.


Please note you may not be fully funded for the amount requested if your team has reached its funding cap.

Please upload the following documents:

  1. Confirmation email that your presentation/poster was accepted to the conference.
  2. Conference agenda, preferably a detailed version that lists your presentation/poster.
  3. All receipts (should add up to the "Total Amount Requested")
  4. Any additional relevant conference documents related to the travel request.
