University Bus Pass (U-Pass) for Students

To purchase a new pass: U-Pass is available to purchase online at parking.fullerton.edu. The U-Pass is valid for one semester. U-Passes are not transferable and non-refundable. The U-Pass will be mailed within 7 business days to the address provided at purchase.

OCTA Employee Bus Pass

CSUF employees who do not own a parking permit may receive a free bus pass for any of OCTA's local routes to be used for commuting to and from their employment on the CSUF campus. Request an Employee Bus Pass by submitting the submitting the E-Pass application.

Damage to Vehicle while On Campus

To report a vehicle incident while on campus, please complete both of the following steps:

  1. Report the damage to CSUF PD at 657-278-2515
  2. Contact CSUF Risk Management at 657-278-7346

Event Request

Submit an Parking Event Services Request online. Event requests should be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance.


Parking permits are required for all events and should be requested through the Online Permit Request System online. Permit requests should be submitted at least 3 business days in advance.

Can I get a permit refund?

Daily and hourly permits are non-refundable. Semester permit holders can request a prorated refund according to proration schedules.

Haven't received your parking permit in the mail?

As of January 2024, all parking permits are now virtual and your plate is your permit! A physical parking permit will not be mailed. For more information, visit parking.fullerton.edu/faq.

Would you like to appeal a parking ticket?

Employees, students, and visitors may submit an appeal online in the Parking Portal. Please create an account if prompted.

Need to update/change the vehicle linked to your virtual permit?

Students: For a permanent vehicle change, you must complete the Vehicle Change Request Form.


Students who need to swap their vehicle for the day, may request a daily exemption. Contact the Parking & Transportation Office at 657-278-3082 to provide your vehicle information.


Faculty/Staff: Faculty/Staff may add up to four (4) vehicles to their virtual parking permit. For information to add the new vehicle to your parking permit, please review the screensteps guide instructions.
