Application Information
Thank you for your application as a CASE Lead Teacher (LT)!
LTs are hired as part-time contractors and serve as an extension of the National Council for Agricultural Education (The Council) and CASE. CASE is a curriculum initiative of The Council. CASE employees and contractors are hired by The Council.
Passion and a desire to promote student success is the standard for CASE Lead Teachers (LTs). An LT understands CASE pedagogical design principles and how the CASE model elevates teaching and, in turn, student performance. They excel in CASE implementation and are chosen to share their experience with peers and other professionals.
Annually, LTs attend Lead Teacher Orientation (LTO) at CASE's expense. This professional development experience builds your teaching skillsets and prepares you to lead adult learners.
Applications are due January 10th. For CASE Institute and BriefCASE dates, visit Register for CASE PD. Prior to applying to contract as an LT, please review the Lead Teacher Manual. Announcements for placements are made on February 1st. If you have any questions, follow up with John Bergin at john.bergin@case4learning.org.
Lead Teachers assigned to CASE Institutes attend the Lead Teacher Orientation (LTO) in Ankeny, Iowa March 24-25. Travel for LTO occurs on March 23 and 26. Lead Teachers assigned to BriefCASEs attend a shorter virtual training.
