SOE New Student Scholarship Application

NOTE: If you have not received your offer of admissions, please note this in the question below.


With the support of our VCU School of Education donors and alumni, and the VCU Graduate School, we have a number of NEW student scholarships to support your next academic steps.


Please note to receive funding students must both accept their offer of admission and register/enroll for at least 6 credits of coursework in their first semester. Distribution of scholarships occur after add/drop week of your first semester. Scholarship funding is not distributed in summer semesters. If tuition and fees are paid fully by another VCU or employer support, the scholarship funding will be reassigned to another student in need.


Please note this scholarship is limited and the application will close once funds are utilized. The application opens during the fall semester and closes early spring semester, latest.

Are you interested/passionate about teaching science or math?

We are excited to offer two scholarships specifically to new incoming undergraduate students who are excited to teach science and math in their classrooms. This can include teaching this as part of your overall curriculum (i.e. special education, health and physical education or early childhood/elementary), or as the main part of your role (i.e. engineering teaching).
