Section II

Title IV, Part A supports activities in three broad areas:


1) Well-Rounded Educational Opportunities - providing students with well-rounded education including programs such as college and career counseling, STEM, arts, civics, and IB/AP


2) Safe and Healthy Students - supporting safe and healthy students with comprehensive school mental health, drug and violence prevention, training on trauma-informed practices, and health and physical education


3) Effective Use of Technology - supporting the effective use of technology that is backed by professional development, blended learning and education technology devices.

Note that you will be only be able to enter one activity at a time. This form will allow you to loop back to enter multiple activities.

Activities to Support Well-Rounded Educational Opportunities

Each local educational agency shall use a portion of such funds to develop and implement programs and activities that support access to a well-rounded education and that—

(2) may be conducted in partnership with an institution of higher education, business, nonprofit organization, community based organization, or other public or private entity with a demonstrated record of success in implementing activities under this section; and

(3) promote the involvement of parents in the activity or program;


(4) may be conducted in partnership with an institution of higher education, business, nonprofit organization, community-based organization, or other public or private entity with a demonstrated record of success in implementing activities described in this section; and
