Welcome to Wargo Nature Center. We are looking forward to working with you to develop exciting, relevant environmental education programs for your students/group. Our naturalists are highly trained and experienced in working with groups of all ages and abilities. They are dedicated to helping others learn about, experience, and enjoy our natural environment.

Wargo Nature Center is a 10,000 square foot facility located in the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve. It is situated on a wooded peninsula along the shores of George Watch Lake. Visitors have access to the lake, woods, marsh, and prairie ecosystems. For a better experience, our program group sizes are kept to around a 12:1 student to naturalist ratio.
