EOCCO Birth Doula Cohort Application | Summer 2025

Summer cohort applicants must apply by May 30th, 2025. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Only complete applications will be reviewed.

EOCCO is excited to be offering its third Birth Doula training with Doula Love and welcoming another cohort! We're so thrilled that you've decided to apply to the program.


Complete the application entirely. If less than five individuals apply for this cohort, the training will be rescheduled.

It is highly recommended to attend a session to understand the requirements and time commitment needed for this training.

Participants who do not attend all required sessions will be responsible for the cost of the training program ($1050).

 

Please note that this application must be completed in one sitting. There is no way to save this application.

 

The EOCCO Birth Doula Training Program is a 70-hour training and students must attend all sessions and finish online coursework during the six weeks to complete the training.


Virtual sessions:

  • 12-1 pm PST | July 8, 10, 15, 17, 29, 31, and August 5 and 12
  • 8:30am-5pm PST | July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25


In-person immersion days (in Ontario, OR)

  • 9am-4pm MST | August 7
  • 9am-2pm MST | August 8


Trainees must attend all sessions and responsible for the cost of any travel that may be needed for training.


Applicants will be evaluated on the completeness of their application, responses to essay questions, supplemental attachments, and letters of partnership/agreement/commitment from a clinic, health department, hospital, or other organization that provides pregnancy and/or labor services. Applicants must demonstrate community connection and collaboration.


Applicants from Eastern Oregon will be prioritized. Applicants with a standing relationship with clinics, hospitals, and/or public health departments will also be prioritized.
