Educators of Excellence: Supervisor Recommendation

To the Supervisor: The Educators of Excellence program through the NC Museum of Natural Sciences provides a unique opportunity for outstanding North Carolina educators to study the diverse communities of Yellowstone National Park, South Africa, the Blue Ridge mountains, and other exceptional natural areas. All Institutes demonstrate best teaching practices, showcase experiential learning, and provide cross-curricular content that can be transferred to North Carolina classrooms. Educators of Excellence has been a program of the Museum since 1987. All supervisor recommendations will be kept confidential.

Recommendations for Winter 2025-26 Institutes (Yellowstone in Winter Institute) must be received by Friday, October 24, 2025.
