Graduate School Interim Examination Scheduling Form

Graduate students complete this online form to begin the process of scheduling their preliminary or final examinations. Before continuing, please note that all students are required to have an approved program of study on file with the Graduate School before scheduling any examination. Please work with your graduate program to ensure you meet this requirement.


Exam Scheduling Directions:

Please read the following information and answer the questions carefully. The form will update as you provide information regarding your examination. Once you have completed all fields, click "Submit" at the bottom-left.


2025 - 2026 Interim Prelims:

Fall 2025: 12/8/25 - 12/12/25

Spring 2026: 5/4 - 5/15

Summer 2026: 8/3 - 8/14


2025 - 2026 Interim Finals:

Fall 2025: 11/24 - 11/26; 12/1 - 12/12; 1/5/26 - 1/9/26

Spring 2026: 4/27 - 5/15

Summer 2026: 8/3 - 8/21

 

Interim Examinations

An interim examination is an exception to the Graduate School's standard examination policies. When approved, these exams in the "gap" between semesters. Please read carefully - interim exams have different rules than standard exams. You must select the type of interim exam you are requesting, read how it is different than a standard exam, and check the box to verify that you understand and agree to follow the interim examination rules.

Interim examinations are an exception to the Graduate School's examination policies. Please provide a brief rationale explaining why this exam needs to occur after the exam deadlines for the semester.

 
 

NOTE: Your interim exam must be within the date range provided above. Exams must be held Monday through Friday, excluding holidays or periods of university closure.
