Requirements to be a Tutor

To be a tutor, you must have: a 3.0 cumulative GPA; a B+ ("B" on a straight grade scale) or above in the course(s) you wish to tutor (a letter of recommendation from the course's current instructor or the department head may substitute if no grade is available); and the endorsement of the department chair or a faculty member (not a graduate student) teaching the course. All new tutors are required to participate in tutor training activities, not to exceed 10 hours per semester.

I understand that tutoring may be in-person with appropriate physical distancing, sanitation, face masks, and other precautions in place as necessary. If the university implements mandatory face coverings, I agree to wear a face mask at all times while tutoring.
