I understand that joining this waitlist does not guarantee that I will be registered for the upcoming City Government Academy (CGA) session and if I am unable to join the current session I would like to be stay listed on this waitlist so that I can receive priority notification to register for future CGA sessions.

Residents may participate in one session of the City Government Academy once every three years. Those that do not complete (graduate from) the program are welcome to re-register. Those who did complete but missed a class or two are welcome to come back to complete individual classes in subsequent sessions.

I certify that I have not completed a City Government Academy Session in the last three years.

I acknowledge that I am a Fishers resident and at least the age of 18 which is a requirement for participation in this program.

I understand that all participants must participate in a volunteer activity (at least 2 hours of volunteer service time) at some point throughout the course of the academy in order to meet the Academy's program requirements and receive a completion certificate.

I understand that all participants must attend a City of Fishers public meeting (board, commission, or council meeting) at some point throughout the course of the academy in order to meet the Academy's program requirements and receive a completion certificate.

I understand that all participants must miss no more than two (2) Academy sessions throughout the course of the program in order to meet the Academy's program requirements and receive a completion certificate.
