Stallholders agree to:
- Not use Single Use Plastics – including cups, straws, cutlery, and take away food containers.
- Remove and dispose of all packaging materials, garbage and litter and dispose of oils, fats or waste water responsibly Keep public traffic areas or access ways free of obstruction.
- Maintain Public Liability Insurance for the sum of not less than FIVE MILLION DOLLARS ($5,000,000), except where the business conducted by the stallholder is a food business or involves the sale of topical applications or treatments (where the insurance sum is not less than TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS /$20,000,000).
- Access Todd Mall by vehicle only for the purpose of loading and unloading stall goods on market days from 3pmto 4.30pm and not drive the vehicle in excess of 5 kilometres per hour.
- Ensure the business is registered under section 70 of the Food Act 2004 (if applicable) and display Registration Certificate while trading.
- Pay site fees at least 120 hours prior to Night Market. Non-for-profits, registered charities and community groups(if criteria are met) do not need to pay site fees.
- No stallholder may without the Council’s approval use a stall to promote services that Council considers to be illegal, immoral or inconsistent with the community nature of the market.
By ticking, I agree to keep indemnified Alice Springs Town Council from any damage to Council property, and from all actions, suits, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses whatsoever arising from injury, death, loss, or damage to property or persons, caused or contributed to by conducting my stall. I understand that the indemnity shall be reduced proportionally to the extent that the act or omission of the Council, its consultants, agents, or contractors may have contributed to the injury, death, loss, or damage.
