APPLICATION FOR FIVE-YEAR ACCESS PERMIT TO HUNT ON DCR-DWSP WATERSHED LANDS

Online Application Instructions:


You are applying for the 5-year Division of Water Supply Protection's Watershed Lands Hunting Permit. Designated public water supply lands of the Department of Conservation and Recreation are open for public hunting on a permit only basis. This includes the previous "Reservoir Zone" at Wachusett and the Division's lands in the Ware River watershed. Permits are in addition to a valid Massachusetts Hunting License and a Hunter Safety Certificate, if required by the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife.


THERE IS NO FEE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PERMIT


1.    Fill out all the required information. If you do not include all the information DCR needs, you may be disqualified. Include Area Code with phone number.


2.    You must possess a valid Massachusetts Hunting or Sporting License BEFORE you apply. Use your MassFishHunt Customer ID Number on the application.


3. Successful hunters must SELF-REPORT harvest information to DCR using the online form on the Watershed Hunting and Trapping page.


NOTE: This permit will not authorize hunting in any of the Quabbin Controlled Deer hunt Zones. A separate permit is required to hunt in those areas.
