Classroom Visit Sign-Up Form
Kindergarten through eighth grade classrooms are invited to participate in grade-specific, hands-on lessons where students can learn agriculture is their source of food, clothing, and shelter. Each lesson is aligned to Nebraska State Education Content Standards for science, social studies, math, or language arts.
Join a Nebraska Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) Education Specialist for an in-person or virtual lesson to provide students a Nebraska-specific lesson that supports core subject learning.
In an ever-changing world, AITC understands every classroom has unique needs. When signing up, please select whether you prefer an in-person or virtual presentation. AITC can fulfill most requests for in-person lessons. If travel is prohibitive, virtual lessons garner great engagement and are supplemented with a free box of supplies for students to complete an offline, hands-on activity. For virtual presentations, Zoom works great, but AITC can accommodate many other video-chat platforms!
There is no cost to participate in a Nebraska Agriculture in the Classroom Visit. Please complete this form to sign up for a visit. If you would like to sign up for additional AITC lessons, please submit a separate form for each request.
